Don't for get your tranny temp gauge, if your spending the money for building the tranny, spend a little more to keep it in a safe operating temp. You will be surprised what conditions actually can overheat the tranny.
A torque converter lockup is a real nice add-on also. If you do a search for tc lockup, there are a few write-ups on how to do it. As a added bonus you can control when you are locked up and use it to help keep temp down.
A boost elbow will help you dial in more boost for more power.
There are also write ups on how to make your own BHAF. Big Honking Air Filter that will flow more than the stock and filter better. I use a KnN on my racer, but I pulled it off of the work truck and built my own after seeing dust in the intake tube. Im off road alot on the oilfields dust roads.

how much power, the #6 plate calls for 230 hp 600 tq so im guessing about 280 hp and 650 675 tq?
