Got owned tonight
So I slid my #6 plate halfway forward and cranked the starwheel all the way. With my mods below I raced a buddy of mine tonight in a bone stock 94 ctd auto dually 2wd. It only has a small air filter and cut off exhaust. He beat me from a red light. Im clueless of why. Im guessin its because of my boost pressure (12-14). Any ideas? Possibly timing?

get a spray bottle of soapy water, and spray it on all the boost hoses and look for bubbles. Also, he could just have a better auto than you, since the auto is what either plants or sucks up all the power.

get a 4" PVC cap and a 4" hump hose, put a schrader valve in the cap and pressurize the front of the turbo... this will pressurize the entire boost tract and makes it easy to find leaks

try plugging your waste gate under the turbo. I am getting 42psi.

Generally boost leaks are around the boots, but you could have a hole in the intercooler.
