Alright i have a delema...
so i was on my way back from ohio today and stoped to fuel up, when i came back out from paying i noticed some oil under my truck...so im like sh%t... i get under it and there is a crap load of oil on the ground and under my truck, so its only a 2 mile drive home frome where i was so i get home and pull it in the shop and get the light out and look and it looks like its coming from the transfer case, and i dont mean a little oil i mean alot, im suprised there is even any left in it, oh and also when i was on my way home before i noticed the oil i started to hear a weird noise coming from the shifter boot area, maybe that has something to with it i dont know im not a professional...anybody got any ideas?? thanks

I did not have a drop of oil under mine, but I had an issue with my automatic, the rear portion of the housing that the case bolts to, snapped off completely because the tranny shop was lazy and had not tightened up the bolts properly.

The seal between the trans and transfer case may be out allowing fluid transfer between the units. Check transmission fluid level.

what about rear main seal? I don't know much about the driveline/lower engine area of these things. The normal drop or 2 was probably from the CCV (Crankcase Vent).

Start checking oil levels in engine, trans and t-case. If you got a bad leak one of them should be low or getting low. Once you find it, fill it, clean it and get it fixed ASAP or face some major repair bills.
