Does anybody make a good aftermarket starter for our trucks?. Thank you in advance. Brian

whats the matter with the one you got?? if it clicks once when you turn the key just get a contact kit for it and it should be fine

Broke some bolts off when attempted to rebuild it. Went to drill the bolts and missed the one and created a whole in the starter.

Go to carparts.com and find you a good used one and upgrade the contacts and brushes and you'll have yourself a great starter.

Get rebuild parts and do it yourself or buy an OEM.
Both here LarryB's Dodge starting problems solved here.

Here is another source for starters.
