Does anybody make a good aftermarket starter for our trucks?. Thank you in advance. Brian

whats the matter with the one you got?? if it clicks once when you turn the key just get a contact kit for it and it should be fine

Broke some bolts off when attempted to rebuild it. Went to drill the bolts and missed the one and created a whole in the starter.

Go to carparts.com and find you a good used one and upgrade the contacts and brushes and you'll have yourself a great starter.

Get rebuild parts and do it yourself or buy an OEM. Both here LarryB's Dodge starting problems solved here.

Here is another source for starters. Mean Green Starters and Altenators - Mean Green is the manufacturer of Gear Reduction Starters, Altenators, Stainless Steel Receiver Hitches and Jeep TJ Dual Battery Trays.

Nice, I wasnt sure if mean green made them or not. I used to run mean green on my rockcrawler. Thanks alot.
