47RH, are they junk?

Im getting one on Sunday so I called a trans company to see what type of internals I could buy to beef it up a little. The parts guy pretty much told me that the 47RH will NEVER hold up in my truck with the mods in my sig. I told him it has a fresh rebuild and a brand new triple disc converter and he said it didnt matter. Not what I wanted to hear! I know you guys run them, so what do I need to do to this tranny to make it last? The trans has the following:

Just rebuilt w/ new clutches and plates
BD triple lock converter
NO valvedoby mods
48RE input shaft

The truck is just a toy, does NO truck pulling, does NOT pull my camp trailer. Just a daily driver, maybe a rolling 15mph race every now and again. Help please!!

Give Dave Goerand a call and he will set you up with what you need to make it hold up.

My understanding is the high hp guys racing and pulling prefer the RH over the RE.
No problem getting an RH to hold 600 hp.

Let's put it this way, the dmax guys will put a 47rh/re behind a dmax when they get up in the real high power levels.
