Contact!

OK, so I got the new contacts and plunger for my starter, and my new fss. Slapped that little diode on there and chunked the starter back in. Fired it off and when I shut it down the shaft came out of the bottom of the fss. I suppose I might have adjusted it incorrectly......ya think? Going to pull it off and readjust today. Should be ready to roll. Now later this week I'm going to move my EGT probe to the manifold. From there, if the EGT's are alright it's time to throw some more fuel and air to er.

Sounds like you forgot the little hair pin that holds solenoid shaft on lever.

Didn't forget it but it wasn't all the way on. It's on and running now though. Starts and runs like a champ. I'm putting the BHAF on it today. Then when my plumbing for my EGT probe comes in I'm moving it to the manifold. When we have an idea on that it's time to lay the fuel to it.
