Tranny Temp Gauge?

I bought the autometer z gauge package with the boost, pyro, and tranny temp gauges. Anyone have any suggestions for where to put the sender for the tranny temp gauge? Before I go drilling and tapping I wanted to make sure there isn't somewhere I can just screw in the sender. Also, if drilling and tapping is necessary where do you guys typically drill and tap on the tranny? Thanks.

No drilling and tapping needed. The forward line on the tranny is the hot line going to the cooler, you need to put the sender there. Either get a line for a 95, like mine, or cut into the line and install a port by any of several methods. The 95 tranny line has a port built in for the location of the stock sensor and works very well for the new sensor.

So if was just to cut the stock line I could just use a t fitting of sorts right with the stem of the t for the sender and the top of the t consisting of two barbs to go inline with the line? Do you happend to know what size the line is and is that dimension I.D. or O.D.? Thanks for the help:thumbsup.

Maybe I'll run up to napa and grab the 95 line. I'm assuming that's 95 is for the designation year 1995 right? Thanks again!

vulcan performance sells the fitting you need..... its less than 20 bucks shipped to your door..... cut the hot line @ the rubber portion below the bumper and put the fitting inline w/ the sender..... tighten clamps and use all set
