Looking for a fuel plate, I have a #0 in now so i cant grind it to anything else. i want a #5 but id just like to try any other one to see what changes it will make
#0 is for towing? where did you get that? Do you know how similar a 0 and a 100 are? I will probably ditch the plate the next time I have time to mess with stuff
But that will remove the temper from the fuel plate, lol. I always thought it was funny that people used to say you have to harden plates after welding or grinding. Back when your rack would overextend, shear the gov retaining pin and blow up your truck if you pull the plate.
I look at it this way; If you're spending so much time with the governor arm against the fuel plate that the fuel plate *needs* to be hardened, your fuel plate wearing is probably the least of your concerns.
