"I'd say at least 500/1000 with all those gauges."
EGT GAUGEs - Years ago, I had my truck dynoed. The EGTs prevented full throttle during the test. I found a good buy on another gauge at a good price. I sent the original for repair. Turns out, the first gauge was reading too high. I could have smoked the engine had it read too low.
Transmission Gauges - Where is the correct location to measure transmission fluid, the pan or as it comes out of the TC? I have made some interesting observation having both. Is your transmission cooler/heater doing their jobs? Is your TC running too hot, transmission too hot? You might be surprised. I prefer both.
With these mechanical injection engines, there are so many variables. That being said, along with me being really horrible at guessing. I'm going to say it sounds over stock, but I don't think it's 700hp yet. More realistically I'm going to say around the 350hp mark. That is very rough and I'm probably wrong.
What boost you running?
What EGT's?
What's the position of the plate?
I am guessing that with a #10, 16° advance and the wrong spray pattern on his injectors he is running about 1100° cruising in o/d, i would be suprised if that setup dyno'd over 275/500
I pass through Lampasas on a regular basis, and usually buy fuel there since very often the lowest priced fuel on my route is found there. Maybe we could meet at Storm's one of these days.
No, I've seen their signs and have assumed it is not a rewards card (like Maverick in Utah), but instead their credit card. The credit card I use gives 5% back which comes to about 18 cents per gallon, so Murphy's is usually the place I stop.
