96 12v exhaust brake

does anyone know if i can put an exhaust brake on a 96 ram 3500 with the 12v cummins and 5 spd manual

do these give the truck a jake brake sound like a big rig mine has no muffler on it just straightpipe. bd power says to replace the exhaust valve springs with 60 pound springs how hard is that to do

No, it won't sound like a jake.
Changing the springs isn't that big of a deal
Instructions REPLACING THE STOCK 35 PSI EXHAUST VALVE SPRINGS WITH HD 60 PSI EXHAUST VALVE SPRINGS
