No power, can't figure out, should be a beast!!

Hey guys, I need help, I'm ready to give up! I put a motor in my truck, and I used the pump that was on the motor, but it ended up being bad, so I replaced it, I've done everything I know to do, and I can't get any power, it is sluggish as hell, and smokes like a , after it gets into 3rd, it starts to spool, it gets to maybe 25psi, it acts like the fuel is drowning the turbo, but I've done all the adjusting I know to do, what I've got is a '97 12v, 5 x .014's, afc is modded all the way, #0 plate, 4000 gsk, ive set the timing at 18* twice, once the normal way, and once by the spillport method, and a 66/74/14 turbo, and of course lots of tranny goodies, why is this thing so lazy????

Best I remember it was around 15 or so, but I don't think that's the problem, cause like I said, the thing will stop traffic it makes so much thick, black smoke

15 is to low. That could be your problem. It may be your OFV is bad causing the low pressure. If not your lift pump may be the issue.

Even if the low fuel pressure is not your big problem it is till a good idea to get it where it should be.

First and foremost.. Fill out your sig.

You need to spend a LOT of time tuning/dialing it in. I mean A LOT.

How is your afc set up? Give as many details as you can
Which afc spring are you using?
Afc location? front, back, middle..?
Pre-boost screw location?
Washer mods?
Ground afc barrel?
Ground afc foot?

Also, exhaust leaks anywhere?
What is your air intake set up?
Who's injectors are you using?
Which delivery valves?
Which pump?

Knowing your WOT fuel pressure wouldn't hurt.

Not getting on top of your turbo, could be for many reasons.

When it idles, the fumes burn your eyes??? And I have the washer flip done, and ground off the foot, everything to the afc, and I've been playing with adjustments, but right now, I've got the star wheel kinda tight, and the pre boost I'd backed up probably half way, but the thing still just pours smoke on the bottom, and doesn't move the boost needle till late 2nd gear, even then it maxes at 25psi????

You do realize that is a pretty darn big single for a street truck? Gonna be hard to make it street-able, tuning can only do so much, but I'm sure you can do a good bit more.
