fuel plate

so my gauges are on the way and i wanna get edgumacated on this fuel plate stuff what is the difference between removing and sliding it i moved the star screw or wheel whatever already just to mess with stuff a lil power added but would i be better off bying or grinding a plate i have looked into forums via search tool but no answers like what i want

ive got at least 2 or three that i started!

i ground my own and it works great! if you grind it be conservative at first, and try it and see how ouy like it.

i have mine making all the power i want now, no smoke at all, i just hafta get in gear and install a 3000 rpm governor spring kit so its a lil more drivable.

my AFC and fuel plate are still in the stock location, but once i get my 3k gsk installed i may hafta do some tweakin. be prepared to take it apart and tinker with it several times in order to get it right.

i like the smoke thou i put my stacks on order today should be here 1-2 weeks and a thick black cloud looks pretty awesome rollin on out IMO

ok better question what plate do need for puling alot like 15-20 k truck trailer and load that is my weight on the scale but i usually use my 6.7 for the heavy stuff but would like to use my 95 mainly cause its a work truck not a show truck... if ya know what i mean

ok but it doesnt help me i need to know what i need for best pulling power and low egt's what injector do i need also to run with this i was thinking 90hp but i dunno

a 100 plate works nice for pretty much everything. depending on how often you tow.....egts may get a little hot with injectors......maybe some 215hp injectors?

im running them if i have a 5 speed i belive i have 215 injectors correct?
