Best Twin Turbo setup

I'm was looking for a good single turbo for the 1/4 mile, but I was convinced to build a twin turbo setup. I don't know what turbos to use, but whatever I choose needs to handle about 850 hp. Can someone help me out?

Source, MPI or Wicked is just a few of the more popular and good twin setups I've seen and been around. I went Wicked and Shane is awesome to deal with and really helpful. Source is real close to me and alittle higher priced but has very high end pieces, turbos in there kit that just work well. MPI has been around awhile and several trucks running Nathans twins and laying down big power. Really they all are pretty closely priced and you cant go wrong with either one. I know Ill catch hell for this but not a huge fan of the BD twins they do have great customer service though. Well I probably just confused you more? But this is my experiences

Thank you for this info, I just went to look at the MPI twins kit. Its pretty expensive, but if it will house what I need, it might not be that bad of a deal. I still would like to save a little bit of money and just build my own, but just don't know what turbo sizes I need.

I agree with this size to get you to 850. I might go 480 later on, the 62 spools quick though so not sure.

Ya they are all pretty spendy IMO. You pay alot for the piping. The turbos can be sourced up used or on sale and really save you money. I would of built my own but didnt have the time or place. If you can ya do it several guys have and they work great. 850 hp would be awesome thats alot of power to dd though. Just do your research and do it right once. I did alot of research and wish I'd went a tad bigger but I have the power bug

If its for a 1/4 truck that doesnt see much road time a big single is the way to go. Like a BB Garrett or something.

ever considered triples? they seem to be working out well, and look to be cheaper...

i had a 66 over 480 on my 3rd gen, like them but not for DD.... when the power came on though it was fun needless to say..
