Question Injectors

I'm looking at getting some injectors for my truck. Here's what i want. i want something that will give me a good power increase but not put my EGT's threw the roof. I'm looking at the SDX injectors but i'm unsure what size to get.

Didn't notice a aftermarket turbo in your sig, Depending on what you want to do later with your pickup I would go with 5 x.012's which are approx. 90hp so you have some growing room. Egts will get hot but that is what your right foot is for.

O and welcome

you will not get an injector that egts wont be an issue with a stock turbo, my 5x.012 got hot with the 62/65/12 that i had, so I dont suggest them at all with a stock turbo. I can even hit 1600* with this 62/71/14 im running right now

I was wondering the same thing, i have a stock turbo, #0 plate, intake, and exhaust... my EGT's are right at the peak that i was told they should be at (about 1250, 1300) but I was thinking about doing a set of injectors before a turbo upgrade considering it's cheaper, and i would like to have that extra power when needed. And I dont wanna sound like I'm repeating the question, but any suggestions?.... and I was also thinking, if i can find them for the right price, is just picking up a set of used injectors just for now... until i can afford to build it for big ponies

if your egts are at the peak, why would you wanna add more fuel? thats how i look at it. Turbo before injectors, thats how I do my truck
