Don't do it he is just very busy is all. You know what happens when you sell a product that a lot of people want? You get behind, way behind! Give him some time and also shoot him an e-mail I believe the address is available on his sight. You won't be sorry.........

Heck as stated above you will not go wrong with any of these shops and if you are mechanically inclined order the parts and just go for it! Personal if I were to do it again I think I would give HTT a shot I have heard a lot of good stuff about Dusty's transmissions in very high hp applications....And Stockton has hit the nail on the head the parts that he has mentioned flat out get it done and billet shafts are not necessary but if you can afford them by all means go for it!

When you say "get the parts and do it yourself" do you mean that there are no special machining processes done to the valve body? If I can save a couple hundred of bucks by buying the parts and moding the VB myself im all for it. I like to live by the motto 'what one man can do, another can do'.......ok, so I took it from Anthony Hopkins in that movie 'THE EDGE' but you understand what I mean . So what kind of parts and how much do you think it would cost to just do my VB myself?

The valvebody is a little more intricate, but you can get just about everything you need from Dunrite and install it yourself for about $300. I don't see them still listed, but vulcan used to sell DTT valvebodies for $425. Sean

Well I will say this there is a lot of money to be saved if you are willing to dive in and get dirty! It is a pain in the arse to do a tranny on your back I will say that but the rewards are great in the form of money saved and the fact that you can say that you built it yourself! I simply got myself a factory manual and had at it! This tranny stuff ain't so bad especially when the valve body has already been built for you. Buy the parts and do it! Oh just don't forget to get a manual before you do.....As far as building your own valve body well that can be done but I highly recommend buying one already done. They flat out make the tranny.........
