No its not, you dont need billet unless your turning over 4000 rpm, which your truck might have been since it was a pulling truck.

I dont ever plan on running over 4000 so I didnt bother getting a billet cam

of course I could just flatter you and say its billet so I get to trade cams

but i turn over 4k... and ya u could do that but then ill destroy lots of expensive things.. and my old lady will be PISSED...
