and u may very well be right about that. i was just worried about the possibility that the cam's operating range was over 4k or something like that..

No its not, you dont need billet unless your turning over 4000 rpm, which your truck might have been since it was a pulling truck.

I dont ever plan on running over 4000 so I didnt bother getting a billet cam

of course I could just flatter you and say its billet so I get to trade cams
