I don't think you should get a 64 I would get a silver 62 if that is your horsepower goals.. With all that fuel you have you need a bigger exhaust wheel to keep your egts in check at wot. If you do end up getting a 64 I would highly suggest a super phat shaft merely for the exhaust wheel

I don't think you should get a 64/65, and I don't think you should get a silver 62...

we're talking about a 12v... 12v's don't flow on the cylidner head very well, so they aren't the best at lighting up turbos. Also, your sig says you've got a torque converter. If you've got a really tight converter, you aren't going to want to go nuts on the turbo or you will HATE it!

what RPM can you brake-stall your converter too? if you just pull away from a light like a normal human, what RPM does your converter put you at/around as it goes through the gears? I'm not talking when you jump on it, I'm saying just pulling away from a light at the same pace as most of the traffic.

I agree with you sir I forgot we were talking about a twelve valve lol but I have seen a silver on a twelve valve that performed really well but he also had a loose convertor. I still don't think you shod go with the 65 exhaust wheel definatelay go with a bigger exhaust wheel like the new 68 or a 71

as much as i hate to be the bad guy here, but with as little as you have done i would estimate 325-350 hp as it sits, as far as turbo the questions above answer those for the best help

I made 450rwhp w/ an HX40 and 370's... a 62/65 is an upgrade over an HX40 and would be a blast on a 12v... especially if you've got a tight converter.

I've run a 62/71 on a couple 12v's, but they were manuals... I wouldn't want to run one on an auto w/ a really tight converter.

everyone always thinks they need to make 500 or 550 or 600hp... just build a well balanced combo and have some fun. You're going to need different injectors to make those higher numbers, and if you've got a really tight converter, just pick a turbo that will work well with your current setup and enjoy!

I'd rather have a 450-475rwhp truck that has a killer powerband than a truck that makes 575rwhp but only makes power between 2800-3400rpm

I am happy with my 600 hp that I can totally drive everyday and not have to wait for an eternity to spool up. I love the driveability of
my truck

I agree pick the turbo that fits a lot of people just want the biggest an baddest but I'll tell ya I had a 66/71/14 on my truck and it made gobs of power but I am absolutely 125% happier with my 62!!! Driveability is where it's at
