boost elbow

any one used one of these?
i found 'em on ebay fro $20
i need one because i bought a hx40 non-waste gated and i'm puttin a waste gated exhaust housing on.

where else can i buy 'em can't i get 'em at the hard ware store??

me too. granted i'm only saving a cupple bucks.
still looks like somthing from the hardware store.

i think i'm gonna buy one see whats the differance from this one and the one i can find at the hardware store.
gees for $20 bucks a wack i can sell 'em on ebay.

looks like some kinda propane fitting

There should be a small hole in the elbow that is preset somehow to release pressure at a preset psi. Without this hole it would have no affect on your boost capabilities. On my elbow from Edge it leaks pressure off starting at 5psi. I don't pretend to understand how it works, but this is what keeps the waste gate from opening.

i got my elbow in the mail the other day. sill not impressed. i'm gonna check the hard ware store. i bet i can make these for less then $5

There were instructions on making your own elbow for under $10 from the hardware store here http://dodgeram.org/ram.html but they appear to be gone. It was really easy.
Personally I just plug the wastegate line totally.

Mine was plugged when I got my truck and it wouldnt push but 25psi and now with the elbow I can hit 35#'s
