Unhappy Air bag light came on after changing starter NEED HELP

Have a couple problems
First off my air bag light stays on when driving
This started after i changed my starter

Second problem is more serious
I can only start the truck with a wrench
Basically when i turn my key to start
Nothing happens but a click
I know the wire that goes from the ignition to the starter
Is fried because how i start it is i put a wrench
From the nut on the starter with the main power
And tap it onto the smaller nut on the starter solinoid
Where that little wire comes off of

I know i have to replace the wire from the ignition
To the starter solinoid, i need help on how to do that.
Thanks alot to whoever helps!

Sounds to me like you have at least one blown fuse.
Probably the ASD under the hood and the one with the cover over it on the side of the dash.

The starter fuse is in the underhood fuse box and labeled ASD
