No Brake lights or turn signals. need some help. lol
sooooo, i have a 95 2500 and i have not messed with anything electrical sense i got the truck, last December. and just the other day, last weekish, i noticed my turn signals didnt work. id turn them on and the little green arrows do not appear on the dash and i get out to see if they work and nothing. ohwell, i can live without turnsignals..... right? who uses them nowadays anyways right? well i was at my buddies and he was behind me and told me my brake lights dont work. hmmmm weird, but..... my third brake light works. just not the rear brake lights. if anyone has any ides. thatd be great. PLEASE HELP ASAP. thanks. I replaced the fuse, twice. and checked the fuses under the hood. and nothing is popped. all connections are good, i dont think a blown bulb would do this. but honestly havnt checked the bulbs yet. thanks again. any help is appreciated.

Check fuse to brake and turn signals, check frasher, most peaple swap the emergency flasher to check if its the flasher. If not those two things, check the brake switch just above the brake pedal.

I checked the one under the hood. Pulled it out and everything was good. So i put it back. And i replaced the fuse in the dash twice just in case. BUT...... I havnt checked brake switch. But the switch cant be bad cuz the third brake light works which is on the cab. And for the turn signals. Ill check the flashers. Thanks guys. Anyone else have ideas please leave here. Thaanks

Ok. So i checked the flashers. Both tlashers work. Buuutttttt. What i did find out is that the hazourd button has to be on for my brakes and turn signals to work. Which means i dont have emergency flashers. But i do have turn signals and brakes now. If i turn my emergency flashers (hazourds) off. Then i dont have anything again. So idk wtf happened. And how this mix up came over night. But watever. I dont need emergency flashers. As long as i have brakes and turns im good. Any help from anyone else is much appreciated. Thanks all

If you swap the position of the flashers does function move to the emergency flashers also? If it doesn't then I would t/s the turn signal switch. If it does change the flasher. You know that they both won't work at the same time don't you? when you hit the flasher switch the tail lights flash repeatedly using the tail light/ brake light circuit and when you turn off the flashers your brake light and tail light circuits re-activate, reason I ask is its very easy to hit the flasher button accidently, if that flasher was out you wouldn't know it but no brake or turn signals.

I switch the turn flasher for the hazord flasher and the turnsignals work but no flashers. The turn signals just flash slower then with the turn flasher in its spot. But ill try all the above and see what the outcome is. Thanks guys for your help. And if theres anymore info. Send it on thru. Thanks everyone

And yea. I know they wont work together. But flashers dont work when the flasher switch is on. But the turn and brakes work. When the flasher switch is off. Nothing works

I had this exact same issue in a Ford years ago....turns out one of the sockets was bad, shorting out the lights, so in order for brakes and turn signals to work in the rear, the hazards had to be on. Use a test light or multimeter to test the wires before the sockets in the rear, as well as the sockets themselves. 10 to one odds you have a bad electrical socket.
