My ABS and Brake warning lights come on at start and do not shut off.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 min or so (some say 30) and reconnecting (resetting codes) and see if it repeats.

Mine is doing it again, for the second time. First time the speed sensor was broken in half....this time....same thing, broken again.
My vote is the speed sensor.

Mine did the same thing, but I has accidently shorted the circuit when installing a brake controller. When I drove the truck is was really obvious because when you stomped on the brakes the rear ABS didn't work. Found out the fuse was blown (located in the cab next to the driver's door). Replaced the fuse and all problems are now gone.

Hope this helps.

I have recently hooked up a Pioneer AVIC-D3 with navigation. One of the wires was supposed to be hooked up to the speed sensor. Could that be it?

my speed didn't work until 30 mph, after a while it was 45 mph ... now it is 83 mph,

just changing the speed sensor will fix it ... ?

check your brake fluid... my lights were on also and i couldn't figgure out why, eventually figgured out that i had a crack in a brake line that was leaking fluid, so it was low. evenaually it got too low and the brakes didn't work so i kinda figgured out what was going on. After i fixed it and filled it back up with fluid lights went away and haven't come back on to this day

My speedo doesn't read until 20mph, and my abs and brake lights are on. Does that mean my speed sensor is bad? Will this solve the abs and brake light problem? Where is the speed sensor, and where do I buy one?
