cab option

I found a cab for my 94 1 ton. It's off a 2000 1500 it's in fairly good shape the dash is immaculate but the seats and rockers are gone. How much work would it take to swap the cab onto my truck?

If the rocker panels are gone you will have to put some new ones on.

The dash does not matter. It is different. I would use your old dash and transplant all of the wiring from the old cab to the new one. I doubt it would be compatible.

Changing the cab means removing the nose, then taking the cab off and putting the new cab on. Then replace the nose. The bumper will also need to come off to get the nose off. You might prefer to take the bed off instead but you risk chipping the fenders if you get the cab just a bit to far forward.

The cab that's on it now has 2 bad floor pans a hole in the cab both rockers are gone and has a giant dent in the pass side cab corner. If I could make the dash work i'd be happy but I have another donor truck to steal the dash from. It's a screaming deal and it's less work than fixing what I got now.

Take the cab off the new truck and glue it onto the old truck, use the cab as a lift and your pushing a 100" lift
