rear brake and reverse light issue?

My brakes lights just started not working and the reverse lights dont come on now either. The 3rd brake light on the cab works when the brakes are pressed but not the other ones. The turn signals work fine and the brake lights come on with the headlighs but dont do anything whenever you press the brakes. I checked all the fuses and they are all fine. Any ideas as to what it might be?

Lots of times the wiring is screwed up at the rear of the truck from previous owners hacking into the wires for trailer lights, etc.
My bet is you'll find a bunch of corroded wires wrapped in electrical tape.
