Air dog question

Im planning on doing a ford cummins swap. the vehicle i'm using is a gas vehicle. My question is is an air dog all i need for the fuel system? im planning on stripping the fuel pump off the sending unit of the gas talk and run the diesel send and return lines, and from the air dog to the injection pump. Do i still need a fuel pump?

You won't need the lift pump. I don't know where, but you can buy (or just make) a plate to block off where the lift pump goes.

You don't need the Airdog, just use the mechanical lift pump on the side of the engine that it should have come with.

you dont technically NEED the airdog, but i would still put one on. the stocker is not the most efficient unit ever built. plus if u change injectors or do anything to the fuel system, it is a million times easier to prime the system. and the airdog can support more power. n we all know u can never have too much power haha. as for the block off plate, alot of diesel sites sell them, and i've heard a 350 small block block off plate will work just fine.

If you are running the airdog, it will replace lift pump only. Not the injector pump (if thats what you meant by fuel pump?)

Or do fords have frame mounted fuel pumps? If so, then you can let the airdog replace that too.

You don't need an electric lift pump or any other pump if you use the mechanical one on the engine.
Don't know where anyone would get the idea that the mechanical pump is inefficient except maybe inexperience.
