thuren track bar ?
ok i just bought a thuren track bar but i wanted to know how exactly does that one end go installed in the frame does anyone have pics to help me out. i am going to do it tomorrow when i get off of work. my kit is also the old one not the new style.

you just take off the old one and put the bolt supplied witht the kit in the frame. pretty straight forward. you have to file out the hole in the frame to get the bolt to fit, just take a 1/16" and the olt should slid right up in. Also between the heim joint and the frame there is a collar that goes between the frame and the joint to prevent the joint from being damaged. It should come assembled in the shipping box. There are good directions on Thuren's website, that all i had and it took a little over an hour to swap out

well it took about an hr in my driveway just next week i need to take it to the alighnment shop.

ok well i just got back from the farm and well driving down the road and a lil in the fields my new track bar made contact with the differental cover what do you all think i did wrong. i circled where it hit.

i just also remember that i drove across some ruts so i think thats where it flexed and hit becuase i turned towards the driverside.

Sure it hit there looks like a old mark? not a clean shinny mark. I would jack it up from the axle on each side and check your clearance.or clean your cover and repaint it and drive it over some rough stuff and recheck.

ya well i still cant figure out why its hitting on my differental cover but when i will install the leveling kit and then the alignment i guess i may have to go with a bigger lift or the stock track bar back in.
