so how well would a set of HIDs actually be in the stock lenses? Or would it just be better off to just go to the sport lenses, then maybe throw HIDs in them if the regular halogens arent good enough?

I have the 6K HID bi-xenon kit in mine, with new stock lenses. Trust me, they're UNBELIEVABLE. You MIGHT be brighter going with the Sport lenses, but these things are unreal. It's hard for me to drive any other vehicle in the dark, after these HID's have spoiled me. My wife's 04 Altima on high doesn't put out half the light. BTW, there's a local shop close to my house selling factory Chrysler headlight housings for $35ea.. Picked up a set for both of mine for $75 and some change. Funny story, was making a right turn into a parking lot the other day, front of my 98(lifted 4x4) passed right by an Oldsmobile.. I couldn't tell if she was blinded, or having a heart attack.. Expression = priceless!
