No overdrive!

OK just got my truck back from the shop and on the way home i noticed that it would not shift into overdrive!

Whats wrong????

Check and make sure that they did not leave the plug out or damage a wire. You do not say what it was in for so that would be the easiest place to start.

I had a new pump put in.

what pump? trans has to come out to put a new pump in

If they worked on the IP my bet is they didn't plug the TPS back in or it's out of adjustment.

Plug an OBDII scanner in or go to Auto Zone and let them scan if you don't have easier access to one. My bet is with Bill, something not right with TPS.
