Ok, so mirrors off VP trucks will or will not fit on a pre 98?

well, considering they didn't go to plastic mirrors till '00, yeah, they will fit, both the metal and plastic ones...

Yes I got the kool veiw an one broke right after I bought it an it was just out of the 30 days,an you cant see anything when there flipped out cause they shake so damn bad

They changed mirrors in 98.

And you can make power/heated with third gen heads, and second gen bases.

Factory Power Tow Mirror Swap - 3rd on a 2nd Gen

and, lemme rephrase my comment, they didn't change to the plastic tow mirrors till '00...

i thought you couldnt get power tow mirrors for the 2nd gen trucks. if you can why not from dodge. mine came from dealer for 250

You can get the powered mirrors, but they are the bent lollipop style.
Most are wanting the 3rd gen style mirror with a 2nd gen base.
Heated and Power.
I know that's what I want.

you can't get em from Mopar, for whatever stupid reason, Mopar only makes manual ones...

around 150 bucks or so, it would def be worth less than the kool view electric ones.....
