replacement steering wheel

Got a new to me '97 2500 4x4 with 325K miles, and the interior needs some work. Most things I can find replacements on rather easily, but steering wheel is a different story. I've seen plenty of questions asked, but few answered. Is there any place that sells OEM, NOS, or anything besides the Dealership? And if not, what years are interchangeable? I've searched near and far and can't find anything helpful. Thanks!

Is buying a nice used one a problem? Do you need it to have the cruise buttone?

nice used one is no problem, it's finding a nice used one that sucks. I looked up car-parts.com and best I've found is 600 mils away and they didn't want to ship. And cruise is very important, I'm not sure how hard it would be to move the controls to the dash or the new wheel though.

I was just asking because I have a nice used one here. It doesn't have the cruise buttons though. Check out the for sale section on here because there are alot of trucks being parted out. Good luck in your search.

If it's just the cover that's messed up Dodge Cummins Diesel Truck Accessories – Geno’s Garage sells some nice ones.

Dallas custom doesn't have anything for it, and I like Geno's garage, but I don't like the look of a steering wheel cover.

Go to Geno's garage on this site and get a new wheel skin. it is the replacement leather cover for the wheel.

How do you put it on? Isn't the stock cover sewed on?
