no cruise control light

my cruise does not work the light on the button does not come on, i checked all vac lines all good same with electrical connections, took switch apart everything is making contact when buttons are pushed.Everything else works fine. Is there a hidden fuse some where or a relay of some sort. These four hour drives really suck with no cruise

it is probably the switch, i just replaced mine check to see if your getting power out of the switch take a test light and ground it out, and find the hot wire, then go to the other wire and try to turn it on and see if your getting power out of the switch, i got my switch for like 30 bucks
