Will 3rd generation box fit 2nd generation
Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question but here goes. I have a 2nd generation dodge 2500 (year 1997) that was converted to dually's before I bought it. Unfortunately it doesn't have a dually box on it. But, I have found a newer dually box. It is a 3rd generation (year 2006). Does anyone know if it will fit on my 1997? Thanks for any thoughts on this...... |

the 3rd gen wheel wells are 3 inches longer than ours. The rear axle sits too far up in my opinion. I think they look kind of funny. I also thought about doing this but I read into it a little bit and I think it would be too much of a headache to be worth it

agree on the trouble aspect of it also the wiring for rear lights is a messy thing on the dodges they do not interchange between 05 and 06 they will most certainly be a mess interfacing with the older trucks |
