Water Leak??
My 2002 2500 is taking on water in the cab-passenger side, source unknown from up in front of the glove box area, the carpet, firewall pad under the carpet all the way down to the rear seat(ext cab)is saturated! I have removed the passenger seat, scuff plate and pulled up the carpet, totally saturated, like wringing out a soaked sponge! It's been suggested that some kind of vent for the a/c is plugged letting the water/condensation build up and flood backwards into the cab area. I ran it thru an auto car wash twice over the summer which has an underbody spray sys to blow off dirt accumulated but I see no open holes in the cab body for any water to come in. It appears to be starting down from high up in the dash. I would appreciate any input or shared experience if anyone has had this problem as I have no clue where to look and so far not much help from a Dealer. Thanks. Tom L

Do you have cablights? If so, take your a-pillar off on the passenger side and see if its running down that too.

Water
No cab lites JW. All I can find is wet floor under carpet. I removed the panel over windshieled wiper drive and dry there, tho it looks like at one time might have been water laying there. I was in some torrential rains in July so quite possibly the water has been there all this time and since I have no regular passenger I did not know it! Anyway am going to dry it out and do some experimenting with a garden hose before I put the carpet back in place. ??? Thanks for the reply. TL

If its not antifreeze Id start at the cargo light and move to the back window If this Is a quad cab put duct tape over the vents in the back doors at the back under side ,turn the blower to high and spray soapy water in all spots,it will blow bubbles, or turn the hose on it with someone in side looking for water.I just did this on my 98 and its the back window it needs to come out and reseal it.

Been running the AC? You may have the drain plugged up. I unplugged my drain but found that on the highway it was blowing back into the cab anyway as the drain hose was missing from the firewall.

mine does the same thing and i belive it is the drain hose. if you look on your fiewall on the pass kind of low there will be a black tube sticking out. there is suppose to be a hose on it.
