If this is still an unresolved issue, I bet that you buggered up the entire CAN-B data bus when you did the radio install.

After only 6 days of Ram ownership, I'm not going to claim to be an expert on reading Dodge schematics or understanding the underlying systems yet. However, the connector pinout that I'm looking at doesn't appear to have any wires from the environmental control panel that lead to the heated mirrors. It does have pins #15-16 as CAN-B bus though, which is the same data bus that your former factory radio used to be connected to. Unless there's a third connector on the back of the environmental control panel that has heated mirror wires on it, I'm thinking that they are controlled by the CAN-B bus.....

The heated mirrors are hardwired, they aren't on the bus. The way chrysler runs power through some things is kinda crazy though, drives you nuts when troubleshooting it.

hopefully Dodge can fix this easily and not have any issues with it. Well, new update.....Now my speedo and mileage mark don't work and I keep blowing right side marker light fuses like crazy!!!!! What's the deal with this thing!?!? All I wanted to do was have an aftermarket stereo, and now I have to deal with a headache!

Just read your other thread before you installed it, any chance of scanning in the installation instructions? Hopefully the dealership doesn't charge you too much.

Here's an update.....Got my truck back from the dealership yesterday. They said that because my factory radio was unplugged and the truck was driven without a radio for a couple of hours, that it caused overloading and the fuse panel shut down. I lost practically everything within a matter of minutes, now it's all fixed!!!! They had to reflash my ECM. It took about 2 hours and $75 later.

Good to hear! My heater/ac went out when I tapped the fuse block for ignition fire for gauges and forgot to plug it into the terminal on the fuse panel.
