Help with Edge A2 monitor install

I'm in the process of hooking my Edge A2 monitor up and I need to know where to hook the power wire up too. Theres no install guide on Edges site anywhere. I called Edge and the guy on the phone said directly to the battery. That doesnt make sense because it would have power all the time. Unless it turns itself off after a while. It does have turbo timer so would that mean it needs power all the time?
