Coolant in oil, headgasket?

I just bought an 01 HO 6spd with 72k miles. When I got it home I noticed the coolant level was at the fill line and at the same time I noticed the engine oil was overfilled and seemed a bit runny. I was hopeful that someone just used the wrong type of oil so I did an oil change and filled the coolant tank. 1000 miles later the coolant is back down to the fill line and the engine oil is overfilled and runny again. It has a slight greenish tint to it (i think, i'm kind of color blind). It is not "milky" like I've known blown headgaskets to be. There is no oil in the coolant.
I'm getting ready to pull the head and have it checked for cracks and/or warping but before I do so I want to make sure there isn't some sort of known cummins issue that causes these symptoms and is unrelated to the headgasket.
This is my daily driver and can't be without it for very long, please help!

Definitely sounds like a headgasket to me.
