1693 code ???
Ok- my check engine light has come on a few times in the last couple months- I get the same code- and using the key switch - it usually cleared. I hooked up my diag. tool to the truck today when it came on- and the 2 codes that I cleared were 1693 codes listing cam shaft position sensor ? This is different from anything I've seen listed anywhere else. No change in performance. Thanks for whatever input you have. I have a 2001 2500 4x4 163k.
