dodge starts hard
buddy has a 99 ctd it has to crank for about 8 to 10 seconds before it starts, if you bump the key the lift pump (on the side of the block) will run for about 25 to 30 seconds we changed the filter it was somewhat dirty. is there a pump in the tank or any other things to look at. thanks for any info.

possible VP problems....not gonna say it yet though....

Is it harder to start when its a hot day?

does it matter if the truck is parked uphill, downhill, or level?

i think just after it sits all night as far as i know but i will find out for sure.
