Thats what I thought at first. Adjusted it, didn't fix the problem. Bought a new one, adjusted it, still the same problem.

Checked the grounds. All seem to be hooked up. The only engine ground I found was the one coming off the drivers side battery. Are there more than one battery to engine grounds? Battery to body, battery to frame look good.

Should be an engine to body ground somewhere, no? I would think APPS sensor too. How much fuel in tank when this happens? Could it be fuel slosh away from the pickup letting air into the line?? I would see if you can find the original fuel pick up and reinstall the Raptor. I have heard funny things from Draw Straws and the in tank pump. Change the gaskets on the lines at the fuel filter as someone may have reused an old one when they changed the fuel lines from the original pump???? Best of luck... Chris

It will do it no matter what the fuel level is. The problem seemed to multiple when I hooked the edge back up.

OK. So I changed out the injector pump for a remaned one straight from cummins. Also install a new cam sensor while I had the pump out. It helped but it will still die if I am in 4th or 3rd @2500rpm hit the exhaust brake let the truck slow down to around 1000 rpms push the clutch in then it will just die. It will fire right back up. If I tap the throttle before I push the clutch in it won't die. Any suggestions?

So after some searching it seems the problem might be vapor lock. Any fixes? What should I run the fuel pressure at. The pump I have is adjustable. Right now it's a 18psi idle. Would that help with the vapor lock?

It rarely does it now. If I have the a/c on max and the and it the exhaust brake it will still kill it. So no, I haven't completely fix it yet.

Do you have any codes? I have the P0216 lamo injector pump code, damm pump has only 600 miles on it. This has to be my problem, Im calling them anyway for replacment, because I didn't even tap my wire. But replacing the pump on yours didn't work so I am probably screwed too. Does your engine backfire when acelerating kind of hard and run crappy when it doesent dead pedal? To boot mine dies when trying to decel and down shift. Any way....................absolutley lost! anyone?

I have an 04 and I was getting fuel captivation when I deleted my stock fuel filter off the side of the truck. The first thing I did was put a regulator with a return line to the tank right before the injection pump. This almost fixed the problem, but it still would happen once and a while. Then I lowered the fuel pressure to about 8psi, it totally took care of the problem, but at WOT the pressure was too low. So I ran a boost line to the regulator. That works sweet. 8psi at idle, whatever boost i am making at WOT! Just something you could try.

They never fixed it right. The truck was down for almost two months. I still am running the stock fuel filter. I'll try lowering my fuel pressure and see what happens. Does not throw any codes.
