05 5.9, no voltage,again?

Here we are cruising down I-5 outside Salem Oregon when the check gauges light comes on. The voltmeter was reading 8v. I pulled into an auto zone they did a test and the alternator was supposedly bad. I replaced the alternator and we cruised down till we hit Medford and the same thing happened. I doubt that it is an alternator issue; can this be a re-flash the CPU issue, or what?

Thank you

Pete

Fixed

Medford Oregon Dodge fixed in in a few minutes. The explanation was an outdated CPU? With a re-flash it seems to be working.
