crossmember question new clutch

Alright so today i put in a new clutch in my 1995 2500 it wasnt to hard overall just down to putting the corssmember back in between the frame rails and it is a really tight fit so tight that i cannot it. My question is that what is the easiest way to get the crossmember back onto the transmission and inbetween the frame hopping to start early tomorrow thanks again for any responses

Bottle jack and a block of wood. Spread it just enough to slip the xmember in there.

We push the X-member up as high as it will go, keeping it up against the bottom of the cab, (earplugs) tap the X-member back and forth always keeping it up high. Helps to clean off any crud, might even smear some grease on the rails. It doesn't take a sledge hammer. We have not used any jacks yet.
