turbo bearings
alright, I'm getting some noise from m y turbo...i think anyways. its a whistle but a MUCH deeper whistle. My regular turbo whistle is still there tho. Also, when it spools up at about 30 psi and higher it sounds like bearings are rattling like H*LL. However, I haven't lost any boost. no excessive smoke. i took the torque tube off the inlet and the shaft has maybe a couple of mm's of play. is that too much??? What are ya'lls thoughts? ANY help is much appreciated. edit* when it first started (yesterday) i thought it was emergency vehicle sirens...thats what it sounded like...

people love to use mm as a measurement for a small amount, but 3 mm is 1/8" which would mean the turbo was absolutely destroyed. i think spec is .0015 to .003 look on the housing to see if the impeller has rubbed, if it has the turbo is definatly junk.
