Died!!!
Help me guys. So today im driving back from running around and my truck just goes dead. It just lost all power and i stepped into it and to try to limp home but nothing it just stalled. So it takes a good 15 seconds to crank over. Then it starts.....and dies moments afterwards. After a couple of minutes it started and i got it back home. But i only was about 1 mile from the house. And my fuel guage is sitting at 0. It looks like the lift pump but im not positive. Also should i rip out the banks and my cai before it goes in for warranty purposes??

Any codes? Cycle the key from off to stand by three times...sounds like the LP crapped out on you. I would remove the banks box if possible.

Yep LP sounds dead. The factory LPs on the 03-04.5 are horrible. If you have the cash I would upgrade the lift pump now...but if not the in tank replacement the dealership will throw in is not too bad.

if your still under factory bumper to bumper warranty they should cover it either way. My first step would be to call the dealer and ask them if its under warranty. If so tell them to pick it up. If not then worry about the next step.
