Has the dealership done a complete fuel pressure check? It costs about 200.00 My lift pump was working, but not enough to supply constant pressure. I also had bad nozzles on my injectors. When the truck would run it ran great.. no issues. You shut it off and the fuel would leak into the cylinders and back through the lines, would not start by key. I did a better lift pump and new injectors with a mod cp3. Alot of cash, but it was worth the added insurance that my truck was going to have fuel.

I understand going to the dealership if your under warranty. I would not recomend going to a dealer any other time. Cummins put these motors in alot of trucks besides dodges. I would find yourself a good diesel truck garage that has the cummins software. When finding one ask if they have a cummins certified tech, and if they use cummins diognostics software.

the truck has had two sets of injector nozzles. truck will also pop start or be towed and fire up. it seems like the injectors are not pulsing or firing with the keyed ignition. there are not DTC's stored or CEL's. the truck is an 03 with 95,000 miles.

That seems like a lot for the miles and year of truck. Are you sure the tips on all or new injectors were replaced? The next ??? is are you running farm fuel or getting it from a steel tank or have one in the bed? When I see a repeat this high its because of the fuel. But to answer your ??? it sound just like the injectors again.

Where are you located?

DC doesn't go by pressure anymore they want the volume test done. Then they want the drain back or return test done. The drain back test is not that fun of a test. Ben there done that for DC

What about a rail pressure #? I know you have to have a certain # before it will start.
