bite the bullet and go to Dodge, I wasted time and money trying other routes with no success

well i know that a used one from at lkq is 400.00 no warrenty and a new one is 1400.00 to 1800.00 witch i dont have . soooooo i will send to jeff in detroit and have it rebilt i have heard good things about him wish me luck:bangh ead:
oh I wish you luck all right, you'll need it. once you try a couple of those "reputable" people and it's still not working right, you'll have wasted time and money that you could've just put towards that $1800 from Dodge, correctly programmed to your truck with a warranty.. and got it done right the first time. you'll either learn the hard way, or get lucky. good luck though

to all if anyone knowes of a place that can repair my ecm i have lost the crank sensor circuit i have hear there is a place in florida
Do you have a CEL on?....what code are you gettintg and what kind of scanner told you that you aren't getting crank sig?

well i called and talked to jeff and he said he wont rebuild these any more . the dtc ,s are p0219 p0336 p0388 all test point to ecm i have ben a teck for 35 years and am pretty sure it is ecm .i wish it was wireing but no luck . you are right a new one from dodge is best but i dont have that kind of money . you want to make me a loan?the truck runs but after 15 to 20 min it stumbles and will stall start back up and as it gets wors feels like engien will jump out of truck sound of poping thure intake stop driveing dont want to hurt my baby.
I'll look for a few places that I know of. I need the year though. Cause they all ask. I've found them as cheap as 300 with warranty. Or I can get a used not refurbished one for 300. One is through a company the other a buddy from here.
