Exclamation 1st gen wont start.

Tuesday night me and a buddy installed a 3200 gov spring, after wards had a little higher idle. Drove it about 4 miles and as we slowed down in the turning lane i noticed the idle was like 300-400 rpm range. Turned around and headed back still had great power and higher rpm range. drove another 15 or so miles while still having better rpm range still low idle rpms.
Wednesday morning while heading to work it died between shifts, nursed it back home. After a 8 hour work day tried starting again and no go, While priming the fuel system the night before we noticed the primer did not function, so we assumed that the lift pump headed south. Bought a new Cummins lift pump and installed it and it DOES function, bled air from all 6 injector lines. At this point it was producing smoke, and quite a bit of it. Tried a little starting fluid to get it over the hump to start. Held the throttle down a little bit and it started, but the rpm's would not climb, after about 30 seconds of trying to clear her throat it was like somebody turned the lights out. It died, now not producing any smoke.

I have made sure the injector lines are bled, the fuel filter is recent less than 3500 miles on it, I am getting fuel to all 6 injectors but it just wont start.

I am at a loss for why it wont start now, any idea would be greatly appreciated, I do have another filter on hand to try just haven't due to how new the filter is.

To update this, took the line off at the injectors and found rubber pieces at 3 of 6 of the injectors. Also found that the pump was sending high pressure fuel to no. 1 and 6 only.
