Electrical Problem on 97 Cummins 12V

drving down the road the speedometer, Tac, and amp gauge drops dead. Hit another bump and they start again. Now, the amp seems to be discharging all the time and generator light is on now also. Batteries havenot gone dead so I am wondering if it is really discharging or what the H>>>> is going on. Thanks for help...any suggestions will be appreciated. gcravens
