I agree with Duluth Diesel, you need to use the red bottle of PS Diesel 911, it is used to de-gel, gelled diesel fuel. I think anyone who drives or lives where the fuel could gel should carry one or two bottles of PS Diesel 911 in the red bottle. I always keep at least one bottle in the truck all winter long. You do know that you can pour PS Diesel 911 directly in to the fuel filter housing after installing a new filter to help de-gel the fuel in the fuel rail when you go to start it?

Well, kerosene has no lubricity whatsoever. If you're running a VP44 truck, I'd worry a little about that and throw in the 2 stroke oil. You should fill in your signature so we know what you have for a truck!

But yes, mixing in a little kerosene will lower the gel point of the fuel.

Like I said you can pour PS Diesel 911 in to the filter to help de-gel the fuel in the fuel line and it shouldn't hurt any thing.

In either case (P-Pump or VP44)... I would very careful on the amount of anti-gel you dump in. This stuff is mostly mineral spirits or naptha. I works great as a thinner (anti-gell) but remember while your doing this your reducing the lubricity of the fuel. (Causing more wear to your IP pump). With ULSD (#2, Winter blend, #1) regardless has been reduced in sulfur (Lubricity) greatly. So use these products very carefully. Don't add wildly...

As for the 2 Cycle Oil it has worked wonderful so far with no problem yet... I'm at +10*F for a start this morning... I know it'll fire up easy...

It might get it to start but you'll do some serious damage to your IP pump. Remember everything that yyour using (kero, PS 911, etc) uses chemical that are very similar to kero, naptha, xylene for anti-gel properties... So that why its a good choice to switch or blend a heavy dose of 2 cycle oil over the top... To proptect your expensive IP-Pumps!

If you have the connections for a garden hose...run warm water over the lines/filter canister to warm things up

I said in an earlier post that plugging in the block heater would warm things up enough to unclog a gelled filter. Gotta warm up everything! Glad she's back on the road.

Power service

Why is Power Service in the blue bottle not talked about? I bought six 32oz bottles for $3.00 each. Work at a auto parts, got them at cost.

I've only seen white (for winter time) and silver (summer time use) bottles. Are you sure its PSD?
