clutch linkage
ok so im installig the hydraluic clutch linkage from southbend on my truck today and i can seem to get the lines from the master cylinder to fit into teh adapter / "quick" disconect that goes to the slave cylinder. ill jsut start instaling my down pipe untill i can get some feed back from yall but woudl like some help asap thx -cliff

If I remember right all you have to do is push the 2 ends together. You have taken the plastic protectors off of both sides right.

are the disconnects like fuel line disconnects? from what i remember, push the line in, then squeeze the disconnects and it should release...

You need to get pictures and some descriptions when you get this figured out cause mine is on the way. Sometime here in the next two weeks I have to get this, the manifold, tires, allingnment and if there is time the Lukes Links installed. What have I got myself into. Oops for got about the new trailer brake to go in to.

It was a bugger but from what I can remember it was just a push. I may have held the disconnect released but I don't seem to remember, old age I guess. Hold the lines with a piece of rubber or something sticky so you can exert more pressure without slipping. Save the original rubber washer from the firewall hole it fits much better. I think I added a lock nut on the adjustment threads also. It probably was not needed as it was not included. It sure is nice being able to adjust the linkage once it is installed.

didnt get any pictures srry no camera, and what i ended up doing was to connect it before instaling, and it guess it was all about the angle i was trying cuz once out it went together with no broblem.. oh well ifu need any help jsut pm me or something =D.
