Fuel shut off solenoid problems

So about a month and a half ago I replaced the fss and it seemed to fix my wont shut off problem. Had no issues prior just quit. Then two days ago same thing, went to shut it off and nothing, stay running, anybody have any ideas? I have proper supply when needed so not sure what's next.


1992 Dodge 350, EXT. cab,long bed, dually,4X4, 5spd.
IceBox intake Diamond Eye 4in exhaust pumped turned up BD 3 piece manifold
2006 2500 mega cab auto with banks 4in straight.

The pump is turned up to much. The only way to cure that problem is turn it down or a pull cable shut off.

2014/93 W350 DRW, fuel pin turned, 6X.018" injectors, 4" exhaust, 3" air intake horn, Super HX40/16, G56 SBC Con-OFE, 3:07's axles, 2" skyjacker lift, air ride rear suspension,B&W flatbed

now when I changed the first solenoid I hadnt messed with my pump in almost 4yrs, put the new one in about a month and a half ago and 2wks ago I went 1 turn up on my power screw, backed it back out and no change.

When you turn the key off and it keeps running is there still power at the FSS?

If no power then the new FSS went bad, probably have to do as Philip said " pull cable".

92 D250 custom made bed, 190 inj., 16cm , electric cooling fan, 2nd gen air horn, 5spd., Dana 61 3.31 gears, 1 stage W/M set up

97 2500 4X4 auto DDP 40 HP injectors, no 8 fuel plate, homemade 3" intake horn, BD converter, BHAF, electric cooling fan

The fss clicks the way it should i have proper power when needed but the solenoid was replaced only a month a half ago, that shldnt happen, any ideas as to why it would have gone already

The rubber tip on the plunger most likely has a piece torn off. That is a common problem with a turned up pump.

gotchya not that i think of it my old one had a little piece broke off ill have to remove and inspect it

Bigger injectors will also relieve the pressure in the pump. A turned up pump with stock injectors will always ruin the FSS.

92 W250, Automagic, 4" lift, 37's, BHAF, 4" TBE, Tweaked Pump, Denny T, 366, HVLPLP, TPS MIA, Timing Bump, HE351CW, P/S I/C.
