fuel leak help

hi my 93 has a fuel leak and it looks like its comming from the fuel heater, do i need a fuel heater if i can bypass it or how much is a new one

You don't need a heater unless you want it. I removed the heaters from both of my trucks.

You will need a new nipple when you remove the heater so you can put your filter on. The Cummins part no is 3925954.

Probably no more horse power, run a diesel fuel conditioner for winter mix. It doesn't keep your fuel lines or tank warm so it won't be that noticeable without it.

You have to unscrew the nipple that the filter screws on to and the heater comes off.
